SMS Program Description
ABC Smog Shop may send low-volume informational and customer service SMS text messages related to smog check visits, customer service replies, review requests, appointment-related communication, service updates, and smog renewal reminders.
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
Customers may optionally opt in by checking the optional SMS consent box on the ABC Smog Shop contact page, by providing their mobile phone number and separately agreeing to optional SMS communications during an in-person smog check visit, or by separately agreeing to optional SMS communications during a customer inquiry or other service-related interaction. SMS consent is not required to submit our contact form, receive smog check services, or complete a purchase.
The SMS consent language states: “I agree to receive text messages from ABC Smog Shop about smog check services, visit follow-up, review requests, smog renewal reminders, appointment-related communication, service updates, and replies to my questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
